Some friends of ours (Morgan and Julie Andersen) invited our family to help them plant corn so our kids could watch it grow. First we went and planted the corn and then about four weeks later, went back to see the growth and helped them weed it. It is a great experience so our kids won't grow up thinking vegetables come from the grocery store! :)
